Go ahead . . . climb this mountain. If you are like MOST people, this seems like a bit of a task. However to make this even more interesting, how about we say that you have two days to climb the entire thing. Too tough you say? What about if we offer you money to climb the mountain in two days? Now your brain is thinking but is this realistic?.

We are nearing the end of the year. You can blame COVID all you want, but you need to raise money. You had this fundraising goal but you are now down to the end and now your goal feels like climbing a mountain. So 2 things for you here:

1) If you did not start your fundraising yet . . . then this is a reminder to do it. Get going. If you have not started even planning for this yet, what are you waiting for? Midwest Studies Group can even help you with that if you need some support. Regardless, you do not have time to spare. It's not going to get any easier after the Holiday Season, so don't bank on that.

2) Make sure you plan for 2021. Spread things out a little. Plan earlier, thank people earlier, start asking people earlier. Saying you have a year to climb a mountain feels a lot better than saying you have only 2 days. Or as the old saying goes . . . how do you eat an elephant? A bite at a time.

If you still have to hit your goal for fundraising . . . attack it now. Do not wait. The end of the year will be here before you know it.
